Yay! Love both the drabbles! I'm so impressed at how you've captured Cordy & Fred in season 3. I can totally picture this as a lost scene from the show!! I love the opening sentence, especially the image that wobbly mountains of books evokes.

I really like how you have Cordy say something bitchy, and then do a very Cordy-like apology:
Fred flinched but Cordelia was already sighing in apology.

And Fred's last line has me all "awwww". The whole blonde thing had me thinking about how Cordy does go blonde later that season (which I've always wondered if it was supposed to be partially to make her even more Angel's type).

And you totally rock the "golf" prompt! Go you!! See this feels like a lost scene from a season 5 episode. And you totally have the dynamic down so well!!

This had me giggling and also impressed at the evocative description:
And ducked barely in time, as the head of Spike’s assailant came flying towards him, striking the skip behind him with a clang. He wiped ichor from his hair as Spike crowed and brandished his axe in triumph.

And the exchange between Wes and Spike is sooo awesome!! Very very funny. Love Spike looking incredulous. And Gunn's reaction is perfect!! Giggles about "polo." *g*
