I'm back! :) Not all my files survived, sadly, but honestly the ones I don't have were not going well anyway. And I read that Neil Gaiman recently left his notebook on a plane; it contained a whole chunk of a new book he's working on, and he's basically had to write it over. So I'm not the only one!
