Whoa. Whether or not this is what your recipient expected, this is incredible. The set-up, the conversation itself, Buffy's reactions to everything Illyria was saying - it's all just spot on, pitch perfect, however you want to say it. And the end, when she's faced with making the same decision as in "The Gift," but probably having to go the other way - it's chilling, but right, somehow. Excellent. *applauds*
