Oh no, sorry to hear that! I confess, I snapped up this prompt partly because I managed to essentially trip over my own toes on the carpet last spring and ended up moaning in agony on the floor. I am reasonably certain I broke my big toe but didn't bother getting it looked at (toe, not metatarsal! *g*), and I tore part of the nail loose too. It was hard to believe how much it hurt. Sadly, I did not have the wit to make up Dean's explanations at the time.
