Shiny!!
Did it!
I am now the proud owner of a new MacBook.
It really is shiny. It's got a glossy screen. It's positively lickable.
The two are sitting next to each other. Earlier this afternoon, the new one enslaved the old (I kid you not, it's called Slave mode) and everything's transferred over, all my emails, accounts, files etc.
Haven't played a lot with the new exciting stuff on this one, but I look forward to it in the next days to weeks. The processor speed improvement is really nice.
And to check that out - I'm now going to goof off the rest of the night and play Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. And try not to die this time.
