tea break time

Nine hours and 2.5K words to go.

This is a hell of a lot better than yesterday, when I was at 10K total, and had a major plothole (thanks to [livejournal.com profile] madame_meretrix for helping me work through that one!) But I'm still only about two-thirds of the way through my 25-sentence outline.

I keep reminding myself all I need is a DRAFT.

And tea. MOAR TEA.

And maybe an explosion or two.

...Yeah, I think I ran into that last year, having higher standards for a "first draft" than was probably expected. I don't usually send stuff out for beta-reading until I would be satisfied to post it as it stands. It was cringe-inducing having to send my draft version to the artist last year!

Haha, it is FAR from that! But it does contain more porn than last year's, not that that's saying much. *g*

Ack, I got called away! Just got Younger Son to bed and I'm back here. Discovered that there's a small summary chunk in the section near the end that I have to take out... I am losing steam! :(

There is, uh, probably at least as much again that needs writing for it to be, you know, readable. But the outline's there, and it's IN! \o/
