Thank heavens that Stephen Harper didn't get the majority landslide some polls predicted - though I really couldn't see that happening, even if Alberta is now entirely Conservative, big surprise - and at least the New Democrats made some gains. Canada's had a pretty unstable (read: fucked-up) party situation since the 1993 election.
