Reminds me of the meta-analysis of multiple studies looking at kids and sugar. Various studies randomized kids to ingesting sugary treats, or sugar-free ones. Parents of each group were randomized to being told their kids had sugar, or sugar-free, and asked to rate their kids' behaviour. Kids were rated as more hyperactive not when they'd had sugar, but rather, when their parents thought they had.
Trick-or-treating last night was delightful. The weather couldn't have been better. :)
The Denizen is doing NaNoWriMo this year. I am not. I have, however, committed to
