supper!

Sudden decision to have Thai green curry chicken. The Denizen kindly ran out and got coconut milk. I have never before encountered cans that you have to open from the bottom. I was wondering why I couldn't get the can opener to engage properly and realized that just under the "Best Before" date printed on the can end (which I was blithely ignoring) it said, "Open Other End." Only I'd already punched a hole in the one end. I would blame this on the fact I unexpectedly had minor surgery today, except that I only had local anaesthetic so I really can't.
