Spider Robinson makes reference, in one of his Callahan books, to another story - I'm not sure if it actually exists, or if he made it up as a story within a story - Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex. It reportedly chronicles Superman's difficulty with his sex life.
I am completely disinterested in either Jim *or* Blair as potential fictitious sex partners. Just no. But yes, it is interesting how much fanon can affect one's perceptions of a character - good to go back and rewatch canon intermittently, realize how far we've strayed.
