electricalgwenHad the nice experience today of putting on a jacket I haven't worn in a while, and discovering £20 in the pocket. Always a nice surprise - yeah, yeah, it's not really free money, but it's money I hadn't known I still had, so practically the same thing.
Actually heard someone use the word "ineluctable" in conversation.
Managed to sing my way through a hell of a lot of sixteenth notes and get them all pretty much in the right place.
Explained to a five-year-old how a baby develops from a single cell (though not how the cell gets started - he didn't ask. Yet.)
