fantas_magoria. Not being a member, I missed it, but I happened to see the challenge today and felt inspired to dash something off anyway.
Prompt from the episode 'School Hard': "Spike has fought two Slayers in the last century, and... he's killed them both." says Giles. Write a haiku for each of those incidents.
China
Fires in the streets,
edifices collapsing,
the country struggles;
Rebellion burns
in its blood – no less brightly
in hers as he drinks.
New York
Second time around
He knows the prize he fights for,
Blood of strength and fire.
This one rebelled too –
Her blood is stronger, sweeter –
She has given life.
