Hallowe'en party tonight! My hair is... well, not black. But it's darker than it was. I think it's as dark as temporary hair dye will go on my hair.

River Tam costume is ready! I have perfect boots from the Army Navy Surplus store. I tried shredding the sweater sleeves last night with limited success (it's machine-knitted top down, unfortunately), and the skirt did not dye quite as well as I'd hoped, but the overall effect is pretty awesome. The Denizen's Kaylee outfit is super as well. AND SHE MADE A JAYNE HAT IN TWO DAYS (for our, uh, prop Jayne.)

I got my flu shots today. You?

Heee! The party host owns a blow-up doll that makes the rounds to various bachelorette parties, Hallowe'en shindigs, etc. My sister had ended up with him after the last party, so I snaffled him and we dressed him up as Jayne. Sadly, he has been around long enough he has a tendency to deflate halfway through the evening. O_o
