Super fantabulous day

I had to work crazy hours overnight last night, so I had a day off.
It was great. It included chocolate body paint, which led to the creation of a haiku:
sweet vanilla skin
glowing in the morning light
serendipity
It's not actually about Buffy, vanilla-cliche to the contrary.
It also included a new book, pressie from my SO: Tales of the Vampires - it's canon, it's Joss & Co!
Xander as Dracula's bitch again in the future made me laugh out loud. "Also, Master, Bela Lugosi has ridiculous hair which in no way resembles yours." Hee!
And later there was nonfat chai latte and a trip to the Apple store to eyeball the new MacBook. My current iBook is having major problems. I keep running out of memory, but the main difficulty is the way the screen light connection keeps quitting. I can't use it as a laptop anymore 'cos I can't carry it around - once I get the screen in a position where it works, I don't dare move it. The new model is a beautiful machine. Gotta save up...
And we went to see X-Men III! Which was really amazingly awesome! but discussion is going in a separate post to save you seeing spoilers if you don't want. :)
On the downside, I have to work this weekend.

Yay for funny Xander!! That's one of the many things that I love about him! And that's a really funny line!
Sorry to hear about the computer problems.
I haven't seen X-Men III yet but will be seeing it Saturday night.
